Almighty One, we recognize Your greatness and magnificence, which fills us with a deep desire to approach You with being humble and reverence each day. We willingly come before You to acknowledge and praise the incredible glory and honor that You possess. Lord, today we need to consider what characteristics we have that qualify us to name You, our Lord. You sacrificed everything for us, bearing our wrath upon Yourself, Lord. When compared to what You've made, we're nothing; all the might mankind has ever made will vanish in a second. Let us revere ourselves in order to come before you, and let us praise and worship you with the compassion and feeling of humility that you have showered upon us, Lord, for You are mighty in the way that You are. Let us remain humble in order to come before You.
Lord, we are living in the final days, and the prophecies about the end times that are found in the Holy Bible are coming true. We can't stand for what this world desires because it would make us lose life after the death of our physical bodies. Dear Lord, we are not going to die in our souls; rather, there will be life that continues forever. Lord, through Lot's wife, we learn that sometimes following God's plan in our lives may force us out of our comfort zones. It is possible that we will be forced to make sacrifices that we are not used to, such as parting ways with loved ones or moving to a new location, just like it was for her. However, it's important to keep in mind that favorable conditions aren't always present when these things occur. We humans are often creatures of routine and comfort, and we tend to choose the option that has the fewest obstacles to overcome. Therefore, You will sometimes allow chaos and sudden destruction in our lives to drive us forward, similar to a mother bird shooing her chicks from a nest so they can expand their wings and learn to fly. Lot's wife was unable to succeed since the things of this world did not convince her to follow the presence of God. As a result, she ended up turning into a pillar of salt and did not acquire anything useful.
Lord, let us perform a self-examination and let us learn to obey when You say run. We have to run without seeing anything; we have to follow your comments, not our own desires, in order to learn new things and receive new blessings in our lives. You will not make any mistakes in our lives, and you will always protect our souls from the lies of evil. Let us bring everyone to a healthy understanding with You. This world makes us vulnerable in every way; relying on You is the surest way to be strong. We love you, Lord our Father, and we pray for Your direction every day. Amen.
